Our club was formed in 1958, over the years we have had some exceptional archers from such a small club, being represented at county, regional, and at international events.Club records are outstanding with some records noted at county and regional levels.

We are a friendly club pursuing target archery through traditional, and bare bow disciplines as well as compound and recurve.

We accept juniors as beginners, who will be accompanied by a parent or an appointed guardian were appropriate.  

 

The governance of the club is carried out by our committee and is guided by the rules and regulations of ARCHERY GB.

 

Archery is the sport, practice or skill of using a bow to propel arrows. The word comes from the Latin arcus. Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat. In modern times, it is mainly a competitive sport and recreational activity.
